Guide for Moms

"A Guide for Moms":

1) Helps mothers to think about their personal and family needs.

2) Gives mothers information about people, services, or resources that may help them through pregnancy and beyond.

3) Encourages mothers to seek help when theya re struggling or their families need help.

"A Guide for Moms: Resources for mothers-to-be and mothers of young children" was created at Case Western Reserve University under the direction of Amy Heneghan, MD with major funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

All counties participating in the Maternal Depression Project are responsibile for creating an insert for the Guide for Moms that is specific to their county. These inserts should list avilable resources. Please see the example from Cuyahoga County below.

The Guide for Moms is also attached below. This is the newly revised version. We have copies available to anyone who would like to distribute the Guide for Moms.
